The British rapper Stormzy has lost his driver's license and been fined. When the police stopped him in his Rolls-Royce in London, he was talking on his mobile phone, which is prohibited in the UK as well.
For nine months, he will not be allowed to drive his car himself.
The judge calls Stormzy's behavior "dangerous and irresponsible" and reminds that the rapper's criminal record is not exactly spotless. He has previously been convicted of speeding and for having overly tinted windows on his Lamborghini.
31-year-old Stormzy's real name is Michael Ebenazer Owuo Jr. He won an award for best album with his debut album "Gang signs & prayer" at the Brit Awards 2018. He received an award for best artist in both 2018 and 2020.
