A 25-year-old man is being prosecuted in the Malmö district court for raping several children via Snapchat. Among other things, an eight-year-old girl is said to have been forced to perform sexual acts on herself, which according to the prosecutor are comparable to intercourse, due to the seriousness of the violations.
The prosecution covers suspected crimes against four identified children and against an unknown girl. The man is also being prosecuted for producing films and photographs of the children.
The suspected crimes took place during the period from April to September this year.
