Lock manufacturer Assa Abloy reports a profit before tax, excluding non-recurring items, of 5.4 billion kronor for the third quarter of the year. This can be compared to a profit of 4.9 billion during the corresponding quarter last year.
Revenue increases by 1 percent to 37.4 billion kronor.
Earnings per share rise 10 percent to 3.63 kronor, which can be compared to an average forecast of 3.54 kronor, according to Bloomberg.
"The operating result and margin improved as a result of price adjustments, cost control, and synergies in our acquisitions," says CEO Nico Delvaux in a press release.
He adds that the operating profit of 6.2 billion is a record high for Assa Abloy.
