Music giant, star producer, and jazz musician Quincy Jones has been laid to rest in a small funeral ceremony for the closest family. A larger and more public memorial ceremony is planned for a later occasion.
Present at this first ceremony were Quincy Jones' seven children, his brothers, sisters, and other close family members. The family has not disclosed which cemetery the ceremony was held at, but expresses its enormous gratitude for the stream of condolences and tributes from friends and fans from all over the world.
The family was by his side even when he fell asleep at home in Bel Air, Los Angeles, on November 3. Quincy Jones was 91 years old.
