Hitachi Energy is investing in Sweden and plans to hire an additional 2,000 people in Sweden, primarily in Ludvika and Västerås but also in Figeholm.
The international power giant has decided to invest 3.7 billion kronor in Sweden by 2027 as part of a larger international plan, according to a press release from the company, which was read by Dagens industri.
"We will continue to recruit and hire more than 2,000 new employees over the coming years. We expect to have around 8,000 employees in Sweden by 2027,” says Tobias Hansson, CEO of Hitachi Energy's operations in Sweden, according to a written comment.
