The car did not stop at a police checkpoint, and when the police finally managed to stop the car, it turned out that the driver was only 14 years old, reports P4 Jönköping.
Just before 3 am on Sunday, the police began to follow the car that was driving from Bredaryd to Gnosjö at varying speeds – a distance of two miles.
With the help of other police cars, the car was "boxed in" and prevented from driving further.
This person is not criminally liable, so it will be handled by authorities other than the police, says police spokesperson Johnny Gustavsson to the channel.
In total, there were five underage boys and girls in the car, all of whom were driven home to their parents by the police. No one was injured in the incident. A report has been made to social authorities.
