With the help of headlamps, Gunde Svan and his celebrity teammates finally reached the finish line in Mora after spending over twelve hours on the Vasaloppet trails.

Without prior experience of cross-country skiing, the five celebrities Filip Dikmen, Samir Badran, Junior Lerin, Linda Pira, and Kaeli Abdi have received help from cross-country skiing icon Gunde Svan to complete a Vasalopp in relay form.

Svan has acted as trainer and coach both before and during the race, which has been depicted in SVT's "Against All Odds in Vasaloppet".

The journey between Sälen and Mora began dramatically for the gang. The wet weather made it tight in the tracks, and the skiing legend was one of the skiers who fell.

After the finish line shortly after 8 pm, Gunde Svan was unanimously praised by his protégés, according to Aftonbladet.

This means a lot to me. I can tell this to my children and grandchildren. I'm so grateful, says Junior Lerin.

"I want to thank Gunde from the bottom of my heart for his enormous patience, leadership, strength, and ability to bring out the best in others, but also for being the only one who supported and cheered us all on", writes Filip Dikmen on
