A person has died in an accident in Hässleholms municipality during the night.
According to the police, a car has driven off the road and collided with flagpoles on the way down a slope. The car has caught fire for unknown reasons. A person has been found dead in the car.
We have no identity on the deceased, says the police's press spokesperson Thomas Johansson.
The police are investigating the incident as gross negligence in traffic.
There are signs that it was going quite fast and the person who alerted us woke up to the crash in the middle of the night. But more than that we don't know right now, says Thomas Johansson.
