The French wine and spirits manufacturer Pernod Ricard – which, among other things, owns the vodka brand Absolut – has made a deal with the venture capital-owned wine manufacturer Accolade Wines to sell a range of well-known wine brands. The deal includes brands such as Jacob's Creek and Campo Viejo.
The affected facilities are located in Australia, New Zealand, and Spain.
Pernod Ricard is streamlining its portfolio to focus on spirits and champagne, the company writes in a statement.
The deal must be approved by Australian competition authorities to be completed, which Pernod Ricard expects to happen during the second half of 2025.
