One person was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter after a traffic accident outside Tärendö in Pajala, the police write on their website.
According to Region Norrbotten, a woman in her 70s was injured in the accident. Her injuries are not considered serious.
A truck and a car with a caravan were involved in the accident, which occurred around lunchtime on Thursday. According to the police, the car rolled into the ditch.
The police are investigating whether any crime was committed in connection with the accident.
