A truck with 1 million cigarettes and between 1,000 and 2,000 liters of alcohol has been stopped in Svinesund, on the border between Sweden and Norway. The driver, a man in his 40s, was arrested by Norwegian police, according to the Norwegian police website. The man comes from Eastern Europe, says the officer on duty, Atle Vesttorp, to NTB.

The load contained 50,000 packets of cigarettes with 20 in each. Customs will now take care of the goods, which will likely be sent for destruction.
