A person has been taken to hospital by ambulance after a fire broke out in an apartment in Uppsala during the night towards Saturday.
We received the alarm at 03.15 and when we arrived at the scene, the apartment was burning heavily, so we extinguished it and prevented it from spreading. One person has been taken to hospital, but I don't know how severe the injuries are, says Jesper Hesselgren, operations manager at Uppsala rescue service.
The fire was extinguished by 04.00.
