On Tuesday afternoon, a recycling center was closed down acutely due to explosion risk. It turned out to be a false alarm, reports Örnsköldsviks Allehanda.

On Tuesday afternoon, a recycling center in Örnsköldsvik was closed after a bottle with what was believed to be the explosive substance nitroglycerin had been handed in.

On Wednesday, the municipal company Miva announced that it had turned out that the bottle did not contain nitroglycerin, according to Örnsköldsvik's Allehanda. Instead, it is about some kind of solvent.

The recycling center reports that they will open at 9 am on Wednesday.
