A third person has been arrested as a suspect in the cake poisoning in Karlskrona, according to prosecutor Lena-Marie Bergström for TT.
It is a 23-year-old man who is suspected of nine cases of aggravated assault. Two people have been arrested previously, one man in his 20s and one man in his 25s.
All of them are suspected on probable grounds of nine cases of aggravated assault, says Bergström.
She does not want to comment on the men's involvement in the crimes at present, nor whether they suspect that more people have been involved.
I'm sorry, I can't say anything more due to the secrecy of the preliminary investigation.
It was on October 16 that nine people became ill after eating cakes in an apartment in Karlskrona. Bergström has previously stated that the cakes contained hash.
