Ronneby council has got a new political leadership through a collaboration between The Labour Party and The Moderate Party, but now the decision has been appealed to the administrative court.
Stefan Johansson, representative for the local Ronneby Party, claims that the new leadership does not have the majority required according to the Local Government Act, reports SVT News Blekinge. Even a moderate and a Christian Democrat councillor have appealed, reports P4 Blekinge.
Since not all moderates in Ronneby's council support the new leadership, the Labour-Moderate Party constellation has only 21 out of 49 seats in the council, but was voted through with support from The Left Party, The Centre Party, and The Green Party.
