"Oceanside countryside" is the name of a new album by Neil Young – recorded in 1977.
On his website, the singer-songwriter writes that the ten tracks are original mixes made during the recordings between May and December 1977.
"I hope you like this treasure of an analog original recording, recorded by Tim Mulligan, as much as I do. When I listen to it now, I think I should have released it back then", writes Young.
The album will be released on February 14 on the record label Reprise and is part of Young's ongoing Analog Original Series (AOS).
The album title "Oceanside countryside" refers to the recordings being made by the sea in Florida and in the Nashville countryside.
