The construction company Skanska has been commissioned to build a nine-story office building in London. The contract is worth 105 million pounds, equivalent to 1.4 billion kronor, writes Skanska in a press release.
The building will have 12,100 square meters of office space when completed and will be a reconstruction of the original historic façade. The move-in date for tenants is planned for January 2027.
In a separate press release, Skanska writes that the construction company has also received an order worth approximately 740 million kronor in Astoria, Oregon, USA. This involves expanding a hospital.
