MTG buys game company for billions

The media company MTG is acquiring the mobile game developer Plarium for 620 million dollars, equivalent to approximately 6.8 billion kronor. The company is behind the mobile game "Raid: Shadow legends".

The CEO Maria Redin claims, in a press release, that the deal makes MTG a "leading European gaming company". The company's position within the mobile game area is strengthened.

Plarium has three additional live games and several under development, according to MTG.
