A serious motorcycle accident occurred on road 263 just north of Sigtuna at around 6 pm on Saturday evening, which Upsala Nya Tidning was the first to report on.
It's a single-vehicle accident, one person was on the motorcycle and is seriously injured, says police spokesperson Mats Eriksson to TT.
The injured man has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
The road was initially closed off but by 8 pm, traffic was back in motion.
No other person was injured in the accident and there is no suspicion of crime.
