The Egyptian boat with 31 tourists plus 14 crew members was on a multi-day diving trip between Marsa Alam and Hurghada when a nightly wave capsized it on Monday.
On the same day, Egyptian authorities were able to rescue 28 people from the boat, including two Norwegians. On Tuesday, the authorities announced that they had now been able to bring five more people to safety, including Belgian citizens.
Four dead have so far been found and the search for the remaining seven on board continues, reports the news agency AFP.
On board were people from, among others, Egypt, the United Kingdom, China, Finland, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and the USA.
The diving boat was supposed to have left the port of Ghalib near Marsa Alam on Sunday for diving at Shaab Sataya, also known as Dolphin Reef. The trip was then supposed to have ended in the larger tourist resort of Hurghada on Friday.
Egypt's tourist resorts on the Red Sea are popular among Swedish travelers as well, but as far as is known, no Swede was involved in the accident.
