Among other fire engineers, architects, and pharmacists, they will be able to read a shorter complementary pedagogical education (KPU) and thus become teachers. This since the government has decided to extend the number of degree areas that will provide eligibility for KPU from 60 to 76.
"Through short KPU, individuals can get a fresh start in working life, while the Swedish school gets competent and qualified teachers", says Education Minister Johan Pehrson (The Liberals) in a press release.
