The woman was found in Hällefors municipality, in Örebro county. The police believe it is a woman who has been missing since the beginning of December last year. One person has been detained suspected of murder.
The police do not want to disclose the gender or age of the detainee, or whether the two are acquaintances or have had any kind of relationship.
I cannot go into that at present, says the police's press spokesperson Lars Hedelin.
It was during lunchtime on Saturday that the police were alerted by the public to the location.
We arrived and established that we had a deceased person, says Hedelin.
When the woman disappeared in December last year, the police initially investigated it as a disappearance without suspicion of crime. But in January, the investigation took a new turn and the police regarded it as a suspected kidnapping.
