For the first time in 15 years, Maria Bonnevie is back on a Norwegian theater stage. She will play Blanche Dubois in Tennessee Williams' classic "A Streetcar Named Desire". The play will premiere on February 19 next year at Christiania Teater.
After so many years at Dramaten in Stockholm, I've gotten used to performing in Swedish, so it will be really nice to come back to my native language, says Bonnevie about the new role.
Maria Bonnevie has been a member of Dramaten's permanent ensemble since 1998 and has been involved in productions such as "Three Sisters", "The Wild Duck", "Miss Julie", and "Tartuffe".
