A 45-year-old man was stabbed during Tuesday evening in Norrköping. A woman of the same age was arrested at the scene and is now suspected of attempted murder.
We received a call from SOS at 22.45 that a woman had called in and stated that she had stabbed a man, and when we arrived at the scene, we found a man and a woman outside a residence in Ljura in Norrköping, says Linus Maxe, commander at police region east.
After speaking with the couple, the woman was initially arrested for aggravated assault, but the man's injuries soon changed the charge to attempted murder.
The man has chest wounds, which is why she is now suspected of attempted murder, says Linus Maxe.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but it is unclear how seriously injured he is or what the relationship is between the couple.
