A man in his 30s was seriously injured on Monday afternoon in a workplace accident in Piteå municipality, reports Piteå-Tidningen.
The police spokesperson Marie Andersson tells TT that it is a fall accident.
The information I have is that it is a fall of two to three meters, says Andersson, who does not have any further knowledge of how the accident occurred.
According to Region Norrbotten, the man is a resident of Piteå and is being cared for in the intensive care unit at Sunderby hospital.
