A man has been injured in a workplace accident in Oskarshamn. The accident occurred in or near a lift at a workplace.
We are investigating what happened and how the injuries occurred, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas.
The man, who is in his 50s, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The alarm about the accident came at around 2:30 pm on Saturday. Later, Region Kalmar announced that the man is seriously injured and is being cared for in the intensive care unit.
