A man has been found dead outdoors in central Vilhelmina during Wednesday morning. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into murder in order to take certain investigative measures. No one is suspected of a crime.
It is unclear how the man died and that is why we are investigating further. Among other things, we are holding interviews to see if we can get some answers about this, says the police's press spokesperson Marie Andersson.
A technical investigation has been conducted at the site where the man was found and a forensic medical examination will be performed.
