The trains on the blue line of the Stockholm subway are taken out of service after wheel damage is discovered on all 60 cars. It is expected to take at least a week to return to normal operation.

All 20 full-length trains on Stockholm's blue subway line have been taken out of service. Replacing them with buses is not possible.

SL is working to borrow trains from the green line and provide some replacement traffic with buses. A damaged gear at Fridhemsplan is believed to be the cause of the damage. An inventory of the trains is being taken to see how the damage looks.

Passengers are advised to seek alternative routes, take the green line or commuter train, and stay updated via the SL app or website.
