A woman who ran two massage parlors in Örebro and Lerum where sex was sold is convicted of gross pimping. She is sentenced to three years in prison, reports local media.
The sex trade took place from the beginning of 2023 to September last year. The woman, who is in her 40s, is said to have earned around 1.2 million kronor from the business.
She was also prosecuted for human exploitation, but was acquitted of that.
In addition to the prison sentence, the woman is to pay 150,000 kronor each to three of the women who were exploited. She will also receive a business ban for five years.
Ten men are sentenced to fines and conditional sentences for buying sex.
