The Left Party in Gothenburg temporarily suspended Kristofer Lundberg earlier this week, among other things due to his involvement in a criminal investigation, while the website Doku has shown that he has expressed support for the terrorist-listed PLFP (People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine).

In social media, the board in Angered writes that they have full confidence in Kristofer Lundberg. At the same time, criticism is directed at the party district, which is "pressured by the party leadership to pause Kristofer Lundberg".

"Against this background, we feel that we have no other choice but to leave our seats on the board during this time and hand over the management of the party association Angered to the district board", it says, among other things, in social media.

District Chairman Håkan Eriksson regrets what has happened.

"Now the district is taking over the work and moving forward", he says in a written comment.
