In 10 hectares of forest, a large forest fire raged overnight until Tuesday in the forests around Rotviksholmen between Lake Yxningen between Åtvidaberg and Valdemarsvik municipality.
The fire started at 11 PM on Monday and was not until 5:30 AM on Tuesday morning that the rescue service gained control over the fire.
About 20 firefighters have worked overnight to prevent the spread to nearby houses.
