Karolinska University Hospital will on Wednesday receive two burn victims from North Macedonia, reports Swedish Radio.
The patients are between 20 and 30 years old.
One patient requires intensive care and the other needs to be placed in a regular ward, says Alberto Falk Delgado, head of plastic surgery operations to SR.
At least 59 people died when a fire broke out at a nightclub in North Macedonia during the night leading up to Sunday. Over 150 people were injured in the fire, which is described as the worst in the country's history.
The fire is believed to have started in connection with a performance when the ceiling caught fire due to pyrotechnics. Around 20 people are suspected of a crime.
