Remains from a deceased person have been found at a shoreline on north-eastern Gotland. The person is believed to have been deceased for a longer period and is likely to have been washed up from the sea. The discovery was made on Sunday morning on the uninhabited island of Skenholmen north-east of Gotland by a private individual.
The person cannot be identified and the police are currently working with the handling of the remains. The person's gender has not yet been determined.
