The lending to households increased by 0.7 percent in May compared to the same month last year, according to the Statistics Sweden (SCB). This can be compared to 0.5 percent the previous month.
Mortgage loans accounted for 83 percent of the total lending.
The lending to non-financial corporations decreased by 1.6 percent in May.
Total lending to households and non-financial corporations amounted to 7,912 billion kronor, of which 63 percent was to households.
