A patient who needed an acute operation died after a head injury. The Health and Care Inspectorate (Ivo) now concludes that Region Kronoberg provided inadequate care, reports P4 Kronoberg.
The patient should have been transported to the university hospital in Lund, but since incorrect symptoms were reported in contact with neurosurgery, the patient remained in the county.
Ivo concludes that the events show a lack of knowledge regarding guidelines.
