After the loss in the bandy SM final against Villa Lidköping, Edsbyn player Jesper Granqvist had to leave the arena in Västerås by ambulance. This after he got a club over his neck.
Granqvist has spent the night at the hospital, but now comes reassuring news from the Hälsingland club.
He will recover. He is a bit battered and still at the hospital, but we hope he can go home. He himself hopes to be discharged during the day, says team leader Bengt Ryhed to SVT on Sunday morning.
X-rays are said to have shown a bleeding between the vocal cords, writes SVT.
Villa Lidköping won the final against Edsbyn with 7–3.
