When he was exposed in August, the 40-year-old doctor was suspected of having killed four patients during the summer, and then tried to burn down their homes to cover up his crimes.
Now, cases have been found dating back as far as 2022. The man had worked with home visits to elderly patients. It has largely concerned palliative care, and therefore the deaths did not attract much attention.
The number of victims is now up to eight. They are said to have been between 61 and 94 years old.
