A freight train collided with a bus in Edsäter in Nordanstigs municipality during the morning. The bus did not have any passengers on board, and the driver escaped without injuries, reports P4 Gävleborg.
The train driver was not injured either.
According to the police, the bus had become stuck on the track due to the slippery conditions, and the driver chose to leave the vehicle.
"The train cannot stop and collides with the bus, which is completely demolished, and the train derails", the police write on their website.
