A man who was reported missing in connection with a fishing trip in Pajala has been found dead, the police write on their website. The man set out on Friday but never came home and the police were contacted the morning after.
It was a call that came in during Saturday morning, it concerned a person who had gone out to fish yesterday afternoon, but had not returned, says Marie Andersson, press spokesperson for the police region North, to Aftonbladet.
A short while later, the man was found dead in the water. No suspicion of crime exists.
