Inflation in Finland fell to 0.7 per cent in December, according to the country's statistics agency. This can be compared to 1.0 per cent in November.
Cheaper electricity and diesel as well as lower interest rates on home loans explain the development, writes the Statistics Centre in a press release.
Compared to the previous month, consumer prices in Finland fell by 0.1 per cent in December after a decline of 0.4 per cent in November.
The inflation target in Finland, which is part of the eurozone, is 2.0 per cent.
