An explosion occurred in a door to an apartment building in Hässleholm during the night to Thursday.
The police and rescue services were alerted at 01.41 about loud bangs.
We are on the scene and it's an entrance door that has been blown up. No one is injured, but there is material damage to the entrance and windows have been shattered, says Tommy Bengtsson, duty officer at the Police Region South.
The police are working on a technical investigation at the scene.
Forensic technicians are on their way. We have initiated a criminal investigation regarding reckless endangerment and offenses against the law on flammable and explosive goods, says Tommy Bengtsson.
