The lifeless girl was found by chance on an old goods yard in Landskrona on the night of July 23 by a police patrol that was on routine patrol.

The police officers began resuscitation and then received assistance from ambulance personnel – but her life could not be saved. After an hour and a half, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The 15-year-old girl is charged in Lund District Court for murder and aggravated robbery. The 13-year-old girl is suspected of the same crime, but since she is too young for criminal punishment, the court will only determine whether she is guilty or not.

Denies murder

Both girls deny murder, but have told about the event during interrogations.

The police have found three films from different executions on one of the girls' mobile phones. According to police interrogations, such a video made an impression and they began talking about killing the 14-year-old girl in the same way, writes TV4 and Aftonbladet.

According to the indictment, the 14-year-old was attacked and bound with silver tape. She was subjected to severe violence, including stab wounds and blows, which led to her death.

"Equally involved"

Prosecutor Pernilla Nilsson believes that both girls were equally involved in the planning and execution of the crimes.

The indictment reveals that the three girls had previously been placed in the same Sis-home. Employees at the home are called to testify in the trial, which is expected to last for five days until January 9.

A simplified forensic psychiatric assessment has been made of the 15-year-old and shows that she may suffer from a serious mental disorder.
