The Karlstad-based gaming company Embracer gets more time to wind down its operations in Russia, reports Dagens Industri.
The Swedish company had until June 30 to complete its business. Now it is extended until December 31 this year after approval from the Swedish Agency for Trade – with the requirement that the deadline is met.
Embracer has been criticized for its presence in Russia since the country's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022. In March, the company announced that it would cease all operations in the country.
