"When the woman arrives in Sweden, she will meet her lawyer and then an interrogation will be held", says one of the two prosecutors, Cecilia Tepper, in a press release, and continues:
"I expected the decision that the woman would be extradited. The fact that she has now consented to being extradited and did not appeal the decision to be extradited means that we can now move forward with our investigation."
Tepper expects the woman to be in Sweden within one to two months.
The woman is suspected of murder and grave robbery after a 37-year-old man was found dead in a bag outdoors near Gustavsberg in Värmdö municipality at the beginning of March. She was arrested in the USA in May and has been detained since then. She had appealed not to be extradited to Sweden.
