The candy giant Mars, with well-known brands such as Snickers, M&M and Milkyway in its portfolio, is buying up the snack giant Kellanova in what is described as the biggest deal of the year.
Kellanova (formerly known as Kellogg) owns brands such as the chips Pringles and a range of well-known flake brands.
In the deal, Kellanova is valued at 36 billion dollars, equivalent to 375 billion kronor.
Kellanova's share price rises by 7.9 percent in pre-trading on Wall Street.
