A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s are suspected of having assaulted and threatened two children, as well as threatening two more children in Hammarö municipality outside Karlstad, the police write on their website.
The children were playing, and the adults perceived that the play was disturbing their peace in some way. And then they handled it in a bad way, says the police's press spokesperson Lars Hedelin to Expressen.
All the children are under 15 years old and the events took place in a residential area on Tuesday afternoon. The assaulted children have, according to the police, sustained "notable" but not serious injuries. The man and woman are not acquainted with the children, according to Expressen.
