It will be quite windy along the Bohuslän coast on Sunday. SMHI has issued a yellow warning for strong winds, 14-17 meters per second, during the afternoon and evening.

Otherwise, traditional Swedish summer weather with both sun and rain is expected.

A cold front is moving in over Götaland during the night towards Sunday, bringing heavy showers that can be intense. Thunderstorms may occur. Local thunderstorms are also expected in Svealand and Norrland.

The cloud cover will clear up on Monday.

On Tuesday, warmer air will arrive from the south, and temperatures will rise to around 25 degrees in the sun, even though it will still be cloudy, says Katarina Andersson, meteorologist at SMHI.

It will also be warm on Wednesday, but cloudy in large parts of Sweden. Rain may occur in central Sweden.

On Thursday, a low-pressure system will move in from the west, stretching over central Sweden and down to Gotland during the day. As a result, temperatures will drop below 20 degrees.
