The cat's owner discovered what had happened when there were only a few minutes left of the washing program. She tells on the radio that the cat Max didn't move when they opened the machine. They went straight to the animal hospital and after three days, Max had recovered and got to come home.
The owner says that she thought Max would get some kind of trauma after the washing adventure and be stressed, but that he seems to be just like usual.
He has probably used up most of his cat lives, she says.
