Boliden has recently experienced a series of setbacks, including delivery problems regarding the Norwegian zinc smelter Odda. In connection with today's quarterly report, the company provides an update where the company's CEO Mikael Staffas writes that they are doing "everything to complete this historic investment".

At the same time, the company reports an operating profit of almost 3.3 billion kronor for the third quarter of the year, compared to a profit of 1.9 billion for the same period last year.

Revenues for the quarter amounted to almost 22.2 billion kronor, compared to almost 19.4 billion kronor. Here, analysts' forecasts were at 21.6 billion kronor.

"It is, however, clear that demand for both zinc and copper, as well as our bimetals, will develop positively as sectors such as the construction industry begin to recover", writes CEO Mikael Staffas.
