How can weather-dependent power production, primarily wind but also solar power, better contribute to the power system's reliability? This is what the three authorities, the Energy Agency, Svenska kraftnät, and the Energy Markets Inspectorate (Ei), will investigate on behalf of the government.
One of the assignments involves proposing or deciding on new rules for weather-dependent power production "to a greater extent have the conditions to contribute with sufficient effect and increase the power system's reliability in a long-term sustainable way", writes Ei.
The assignment will be reported in December 2025.
